During the Adelaide Festival of Arts one of the exhibitions was the Northern Lights. It is pretty cool how a couple projectors can change the appearance of a building. Check it yourself...

This trip was all the way up north in New Zealand to the area called Northland. Definitely a place to visit and spend some time. This was actually the first time I spent Christmas in Summer on the beach :), great fun.

Monterey Bay Aquarium |
While living in Santa Cruz taking pictures with my new camera in the Monterey Bay Aquarium was always something that I wanted to do. So just in time before I left I made a trip down there.

While visiting my friend in Newport we went to the Wild Animal Park that is located outside of San Diego. It is quite cool to do a Safari only by driving 60 miles.

This place was on top of my list of places to see. So I planed that I would get there towards the end of my trip. It was well worth it to have this as a grand finale. The 10 mile hike to the place forgotten as soon as I arrived. So here some of my impressions...

The Wave |
The Wave is one of the coolest thing I ever saw. It is a sandstone formation that is very unique. It is almost as some magic was involved. At least the place feels extremely special and I was lucky enough to be there. Sorry for the many pictures.. I took around 700 that day :).

Antelope Canyon |
A visit to the famous Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. Since it was really windy, walking through the slot canyon was like having a shower with sand (and thus I did not dare to change my lens).
